Welcome to Bournemouth Postgraduate Medical Education Centre.  As one of the busiest Postgraduate Centres in the South Coast of England, we provide education to local GPs on Wednesday lunchtimes around 30 meetings per year and approximately 6 Specialty half days a year.  With the support of our Director of Medical Education,  our local Consultant colleagues are committed to the continued development of the primary/secondary care interface.  We hold a 2 day GP Refresher in February each year and twice a year in May and November we offer a regional course in Sexual and Reproductive Health.  

We support practice based education and small group learning and are particularly keen to facilitate the education of non principal doctors. The GP Tutor, Dr Peter Blick, is always willing to offer individual advice as an informal mentor and is supported by a  dedicated and approachable Post Graduate Education Team.
