Dr Christopher Brian Edwin Millner MB BS MRCGP Dip Occ Med
Chris Millner qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1982 and has been working in General Practice since 1986. Moving to Dorchester with his family, he worked as a locum before setting up his present Practice in 1989. He lives in Dorchester with his wife and children. About the Practice
Currently, we are a four-partner PMS practice, working a list size of over 4,300 patients – and growing. We operate EMIS software. The surgery moved to its new purpose built premises in April 2007, accommodating District Nurses, Health Visitors and Primary Care Trust clinical rooms that provide Intermediate Orthopaedic Service and Mental Health sessions. Our premises are comprehensively well equipped and we have a minor operating suite in the building. There is also a pharmacy on site. This all contributes to a strong and well-organised and integrated primary care team. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive, friendly, professional and personal service, with time to discuss our patients’ healthcare concerns. We endeavour to have excellent access to our team. We intend to be part of our local community and a centre for excellence in the provision of primary healthcare.
Special Interests within the practice
Partner Dr Steve Scott is GP Appraisal Lead; OOH Clinical Advisor; GpwSI Minor Surgery.
