About the Practice

Though not one of the earliest practices in Bournemouth we date back to about 1880. Our current location has been in place since 1987, see our website below for more details.

At Westbourne Medical Centre, we have a lot of staff including district and practice nurses, health visitors as well as two nurse practitioners, who are able to carry out sessions in our daily surgeries. We aim to give as much support to our training registrars as we can, including one to one training and ensure trainers are available throughout the day. We use Vision clinical software, which is easy to use with a wide range of clinical tools including online references built in. We carry out regular clinical training sessions to ensure all our clinical staff are kept up to date with policies and procedures within our area.

We are pleased to be able to offer minor ops in our surgery, specialising in dermatology.
